The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Dr. Wang, DMD, PhD, FAGD of Daily Dental Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, received the prestigious Fellowship Award during the AGD’s convocation ceremony, a celebration that recognizes AGD member’s commitment to excellence in dental education. Dr. Wang accepted the award at the AGD’s scientific session on July 20, 2019, in Connecticut.

The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. In order to receive this award, Dr. Wang completed hundreds of hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam covering more than eighteen subjects of general dentistry. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Wang has joined an elite group of the dental community, as only 6% of dentists across the US and Canada receive this designation. The Fellowship Award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

“The AGD is proud to honor Wei Wang, DMD, PhD, FAGD for his commitment to continuing education and dedication to providing his patients with advanced and exceptional oral health care,” says AGD President Neil J Gajjar,, DDS, MAGD, “Dr. Wang has gone above and beyond his duties, distinguishing himself professionally amongst his peers and exemplifying his allegiance to the dental community.”

Dr. Wang, DMD, PhD, FAGD graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine with the high honor. Dr. Wang practices general dentistry in both Ann Arbor & Milan offices. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Wang is also a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and Washtenaw Dental Association.

“I’m honored to receive the Fellowship Award,” said Dr. Wang. “Our practices take pride in always being at the forefront of new dental and cosmetic technology and techniques. Continual education and advanced technologies are certainly the cornerstones for us to provide an exceptional dental care to all our patients without exceptions.”

    Dr. Wang grew up in a medical family, with parents and siblings who are all healthcare providers. He set the goal of becoming a dentist early in his life. With more than 15 years of practical experience in clinical dentistry, he approaches his career goal by providing exceptional dental care to his patients without exceptions.     Dr. Leslie Taub received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.  His post graduate studies have continued since dental school.  He has attended continuing education classes every year, and continues to learn about new materials and techniques.
